Nearly afraid to encroach on this serene view of Cheshire Lake, this stealthy photographer enjoyed the best of both worlds. One, being able to savor the moments of this inviting scene and soak up these peaceful circumstances, and two, having a chance to revisit (the photograph) anytime and share it with all nature lovers.
Here in the southwestern corner of New Hampshire, Cheshire Country is a land that has attracted sightseers since 1850. Looking for a new mountain climbing challenge, guests enjoyed a stay at one of summer hotels built at the base of Mt. Monadnock. A collection of small wildlife areas, state forests, and a handful of state parks dot the area. Large ponds, reservoirs and the Contoocook River satisfy resident water lovers. Trout, bass and perch keep area anglers busy. And of course, photographers need not look very far for suitable subjects.
